This is the second time I've bought it, the first one broke when my husband stepped on it. You need two small batteries, the beam power is impressive. The cats are happy. In my opinion, the color is not purple. One of the downsides is that you need to hold the button.

It removes a great quantity of hair, which are easy to peel off form the brush. It generates a decent steam flow, but it doesn’t wet the cat. The working sound is really quiet, but it scares my cats a little bit

The hair collects a little weakly, but the big plus is that the bristles are soft and widely spaced - because the hair doesn't fall out, there won't be any more stress from combing, neither for the cats nor for me. The rubber part is removable and washable. The item is quite high quality and looks expensive and elegant. My brush is cheaper, but what can you do for the sake of fluffy whiskers.
